Exciting ang taon sa mga bagong mukha na mga lider ng Bulacan at makikita ang sunud-sunod na mga pag-aayos ng mga daan at pag-usbong nga mga bagong negosyo. Tingnan ang mga sumusunod:

  • Plaridel Bypass Road Project, a 24.61-kilometer new arterial road traversing the municipalities of Balagtas, Guiguinto, Plaridel, Bustos, and San Rafael in the province of Bulacan which is expected cut travel time between NLEX-Balagtas to Maharlika Highway in San Rafael by as much as 30 minutes.
  • Pulilan-Baliuag Diversion Road, which cut the travel time between the towns of Baliuag and Pulilan in Bulacan from one hour to only 30 minutes.
  • The 5.14-kilometer Bypass Road – Ciudad de Victoria Interchange Bypass Road, which will reduce travel time from Bocaue to Sta. Maria in Bulacan from 50 minutes to only 15 minutes.
  • The 24.61-kilometer Arterial Angat Bridge along Plaridel Bypass Road which will cut the average travel time of approximately 15,000 motorists per day between Borol 2nd, Balagtas, and Maasim, San Rafael, from 69 to 24 minutes.
  • The San Jose Del Monte-Doña Remedios Trinidad (SJDM-DRT) Bypass Road which will shorten the travel time going to or from San Jose Del Monte City and Doña Remedios Trinidad (DRT) from the current over an hour to less than 20 minutes.

MRT 7

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade provided updates as project proponent SMC on Thursday unveiled the first 18 out of 108 train cars, manufactured by South Korea’s Hyundai Rotem, to the government entourage led by President Duterte.

Once completed, the 22-kilometer railway line is expected to reduce travel time from North Avenue, Quezon City, to San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, to just 35 minutes from the current two to three hours.

Ahead of passenger operations in December, the MRT 7 will also begin tests runs in April next year, according to the Department of Transportation.

The MRT 7 project will have 14 stations: Quezon North Avenue Joint Station, Quezon Memorial Circle, University Avenue, Tandang Sora, Don Antonio, Batasan, Manggahan, Doña Carmen, Regalado, Mindanao Avenue, Quirino, Sacred Heart, Tala and San Jose del Monte.

SMC said the line would serve around 300,000 passengers per day during its first year and an estimated 850,000 passengers daily on its 12th year.

Bulacan Bulk Water (Potable Water Supply)

More people in Bulacan are finally set to gain access to affordable and reliable potable water supply, as San Miguel Corporation (SMC) recently formalized agreements with seven water districts in the province, to be covered by Stage 3 of its Bulacan Bulk Water Supply Project (BBWSP).

These include the towns of Norzagaray, Hagonoy, Pandi, Baliwag, San Rafael, San Miguel, and San Ildefonso earlier this year.

“These public infrastructures will improve public mobility, productivity and help boost economic activity in the province,” said Villar.
